How We Can Help Cover Your Care

Area Agency on Aging

ADRC — Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living

The Aging and Disability Resource Center connects older adults and people with disabilities to long-term services and supports. Through the Bluegrass Area Development District, eligible individuals may qualify for funded home care services.

Family Caregiver Support

NFCSP — National Family Caregiver Support Program

The National Family Caregiver Support Program provides services to family caregivers who assist loved ones aged 60 and older, as well as grandparents caring for grandchildren. Services include respite care, supplemental supports, and home assistance.

State Program

Kentucky Home Care

Kentucky Home Care is a state-funded program that provides homemaker and home health aide services to eligible Kentuckians. This program helps individuals remain safely in their own homes by covering essential daily assistance and personal care.

Veterans Benefits

VA Community Care

Independence Assistance is proud to serve our veterans through the VA Community Care Program. Eligible veterans can receive authorized home care services covered by VA benefits — allowing them to get the support they've earned in the comfort of their own home.
